Kansas population predicted to grow by 28.8% by 2070

Nov. 16, 2020 — Wichita State University's Center for Economic Development and Business Research has released its Kansas population forecast for the state and all 105 counties. Kansas’ total population is expected to grow by 28.8% to approximately 3.76 million residents by 2070.

NIAR receives $13.7 million from Air Force for advanced composites research

Nov. 12, 2020 — The National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR) has received another $13.7 million contract from the United States Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) to extend the Modeling for Affordable, Sustainable Composites (MASC) research program.
