Sept. 12, 2019 -- The FirePoint Innovations Center at Wichita State University is hosting its first-ever FirePoint C3 Challenge, inviting university students from around the U.S. to submit their best designs for the Army's future unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) intended for next-generation combat and defense.

Sept. 9, 2019 -- Wichita State University (WSU) and Textron Aviation, a Textron Inc. company, today announced the company’s commitment of $300,000 to support WSU’s Division of Diversity and Community Engagement efforts.

Sept. 6, 2019 -- Book your holiday air travel as early as possible (at least eight weeks if possible). Airline prices are holding steady, but with limited seat availability and strong demand seats will fill quickly. That's the advice from Dean Headley, Airline Quality Rating (AQR) co-author and emeritus professor of marketing at Wichita State University.

Sept. 5, 2019 -- Schuyler Bailar, an award winning NCAA Athlete and inspirational speaker, will speak at  6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12, at  Wichita State University, Rhatigan Student Center in Room 265  in partnership with Spectrum: LGBTQ & Allies.   

Sept. 4, 2019 -- For the sixth consecutive year, Wichita State University is one of 24 nationwide recipients of a $125,000 grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
