Sept. 27, 2023 — Kansas home values will continue to appreciate in the coming year, according to the 2024 Kansas Housing Markets Forecast series published by the Wichita State University Center for Real Estate.

Sept. 27, 2023 — Wichita State University's efforts to transform the educational experience for students and redefine the role of a university to foster statewide economic growth have yielded remarkable results: the highest enrollment in its 128-year history .   

Sept. 27, 2023 - The annual remembrance of Memorial ’70 will be held at 9 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 2, at the memorial sculpture at the university entrance at Memorial Drive and Hillside (18th and Hillside). A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony in the lobby of Duerksen Fine Arts Center across from the memorial.

Sept. 26, 2023 — Veteran actor Barry Corbin, known for his roles in “Urban Cowboy,” “Stir Crazy” and “Lonesome Dove,” will present “Barry Corbin: From Shakespeare to Cowboys,” noon-1 p.m. Oct. 6 in 200 Ahlberg Hall at WSU.  Admission is free, and anyone is welcome to attend.

Sept. 21, 2023 — The U.S. Small Business Administration awarded $150,000 to Wichita State University to assist in providing resources and support for small businesses and start-ups focused on STEM and research and development.
