What made you choose Wichita State University?

I chose Wichita State University for its strong engineering program, the well-equipped and welcoming campus, and the many opportunities it offers for hands-on, applied learning.

What applied learning experiences did you participate in during your time here?

While at Wichita State, I had the chance to work for National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR). It was a great way to apply what I had learned in class to real projects and gain experience in the field.

What advice would you give other Wichita State students?

Step out of your comfort zone and talk to people in your classes and around campus. Everyone’s learning, so don’t be afraid to ask questions. Also, take full advantage of the student services WSU offers. The staff and faculty are incredibly supportive and always willing to help.

What's next for this grad?

After graduation, I plan to continue growing professionally and keep learning, whether through new experiences, continued education or other opportunities that challenge me. I also plan on traveling!
