Math Lab

The Math Lab is a free tutoring service for WSU students, available in-person. The Lab is staffed by graduate students and exceptional undergraduate students studying mathematics and/or mathematics related disciplines. In addition, numerous mathematics faculty members volunteer time in the Lab. Courses formally tutored include:

Math 111 College Algebra
Math 112 Precalculus Math
Math 123 College Trigonometry
Math 131 Contemporary Mathematics
Math 144 Business Calculus
Math 242 Calculus I
Stat 171 Introduction to Statistics
Stat 370 Elementary Statistics

The Math Lab is located in the Shocker Success Center, Second Floor West.

Current Fall 2026 Math Lab Hours:

Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Friday - 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

No appointment is necessary. Students are encouraged to stop in at their convenience.
