HF Grad Student wins HFES 2018 Student Member With Honors
Human Factors graduate student, JP Plummer, was awarded the 2018 Student Member with Honors award at the recent Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) Conference in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania. The award is given to students who have made an outstanding contribution
to the discipline or to HFES during their tenure as a student. Congratulations JP!
Students attend WSU Academic Resources Conference Training
First and second year psychology graduate students attended the WSU Academic Resources Conference training held on August 15, 2018. The students learned how to be an effective and successful classroom instructor. During the training, the students gained valuable knowledge regarding
how to teach a university-level course, how to optimize Blackboard use in the classroom,
and WSU policies including Title IX, accessibility, and important student services.
