Kansas high school students seriously considering a law career can get a year’s head start at WSU with the LEAD (Legal Education Accelerated Degree) program, which provides a pathway to the University of Kansas School of Law.
“With philosophy you are going to find it everywhere,” Minor said. “Philosophy has always been there to sort out issues like ethical issues, and law and politics.”
The Kansas Micro-Internship program is available to WSU students and offers opportunies where students can demonstrate skills, explore career paths, and develop professional networks.
From the program website: "The summer school is open to women with a keen interest in mathematical philosophy. Applicants should be students of philosophy (or philosophically minded logicians or scientists) at an advanced undergraduate level, in a master program, or at an early PhD level."
The Undergraduate Student Research and Creative Activity Grants Program is accepting applications for grants of up to $1,000 for WSU undergraduate students pursing research or creative projects.
