New Dance Studio
With the addition of new curriculum, two programs - Dance and Musical Theatre - are growing beyond the limits of their space. We are bursting at the seams!
After generous donations from our dance patrons and the College of Fine Arts, we are in the process of renovating and creating a new Dance Studio in the Heskett Center for all our dancers. Even though we’re ready to start work on the installation of a sprung wood floor and wall of mirrors, we are still short the funding needed to complete the final phase of the project with the Marley floor and sound system.
The easiest way to get our talented dancers into the new facility - and prevent our students from being displaced at a later date - is to secure full funding for the project.
Any size donation is a step towards completion!
With the help of our friends and alumni, we know we can raise the additional $10,000 needed for the studio by the end of the year. Helping us now will support future emerging artists.
You've Been Challenge! Will You Accept?
After attending the Kansas Dance Festival 2019, Mr. Romulus Portwood was inspired to issue this challenge to those who love dance and the performing arts. On behalf of the training his gradson, Timothy is receiving at Wichita State University, Mr. Portwood is partering with Wichita State and challenges others to match his gift to help us reach our goal.
