"A Glimpse into LGBT Life," a multi-media arts exhibit by Hunter J. Dale

Painting of male figure wearing a crown and holding a butterfly on the tips of their fingers.

Hunter Dale explores the culture behind being a member of the LGBT community through his multi-media exhibit, "A Glimpse into LGBT Life." Dale's works explore the feelings and emotions related to mental health, religion and faith, self-harm and suicide attempts, questioning, shame and self acceptance. Through the artist's work, the viewer will recognize how tragedies in the LGBT community are portrayed in news and media. He expects viewer eyes to be opened on topics and issues to which they may usually be closed.

Hunter is a Business Management major from Hugoton, KS.

On exhibit in the The Cadman Main Gallery: Monday, Oct. 12 - Friday, Oct. 23. The exhibit closed Oct. 18 & 19.
