Managing Research Files will help you improve the organization of your research, scholarly, and class documents to make finding and sharing your work easier. By the end of this workshop, you should understand the better practices for: file naming; file and directory organization; keeping track of information about your files and project (metadata); and the Who, What, Where, When, Why, and How of keeping your files safe with backups.
This workshop is for complete beginners and does not require a computer; we will go over concepts in group discussions.

Host institution: University of Oklahoma Libraries

Note: We'll stream this webinar in the Digital Scholars Commons in Ablah Library.
