Publication Updates
The Composite Materials Handbook-17 (CMH-17) provides information and guidance necessary
to safely and efficiently design and fabricate end items using advanced materials.
Its primary purpose is the standardization of engineering data development methodologies
related to testing, data reduction, and data reporting of property data for current
and emerging advanced materials.
Volume 3 Revision H was released in October 2025.
Volume 5 Revision B is planned for early Spring 2026 Release
Volume 2 Revision J is planned for Summer 2026 Release
Volume 7 is planned for Winter 2026 Release
Volume 7 is our latest addition to the Handbook series and will cover content on non-metallic
additive manufacturing with focus on fused filament fabrication and laser powder bed
fusion technology. Additional content on other technologies will be updated in subsequent
Volume release.
Volume 6 Revision A is planned for 2027 Release
