Passage 2 Success (P2S) is a week-long retreat for incoming freshmen from diverse backgrounds to help in their transition to Wichita State University! The purpose of this retreat is to connect with other incoming students, meet current student leaders, explore Wichita and gain the skills and tools to be socially and academically successful.

This program will be hosted the week before classes begin.

Dates: Aug. 10 - 14, 2025
Program Fee: $75

Earn College Credit
...as easy as 1-2-3!

Not only does Passage 2 Success introduce you to the available resources on campus, you will be enrolled into Ready, Set, Lead!, a three-credit hour college course connected to the program. This course is an introduction to core skills needed to be a successful leader.

In this course, students will explore aspects of critical thinking, financial literacy, problem solving, professionalism and leadership through application of training, engagement and real-world experiences. This course is included at no cost when you register for Passage 2 Success.

This course is included at no cost when students register for this program. A fee may show up on your Student Account Suite; however, a scholarship will be applied onto your account to cover the cost for this course. In addition, full participation is required for Passage 2 Success. Students are subject to incur additional fees associated with this college course.

Registration Fee and Deadline

Registration for Passage 2 Success is $75. Payment for this program will be collected when you register.

The program fee includes all associated costs for Passage 2 Success. Students participating in Passage 2 Success must have completed Freshman Orientation prior to attending Passage 2 Success.
