Retroactive Credit
Dental Hygiene
Students in the Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene program may receive retroactive credit of up to 28 upper division WSU credit hours
for coursework completed at another accredited dental hygiene program. These credit
hours will be given in the final semester of the BSDH program. Contact the College of Health Professions Advising Center or email dental.hygiene@wichita.edu for eligibility details.
Organizational Leadership and Learning
Students majoring in Organizatonal Leadership and Learning may be awarded Credit for Life Experience or Retroactive Credit based on their prior
experience or prior education. Credit for Life Experience and Retroactive Credit are
both forms of Credit for Prior Learning. The type of credit the student is awarded
is based on their background experience. The College of Applied Studies reviews the
student’s transcripts, resume, and other documentation to identify experience, industry
certification and education then connect that to credit for prior learning. For eligibility
information, contact the College of Applied Studies Advising Center by emailing cas@wichita.edu, calling (316) 978-3300 or visiting Corbin Education Center, Room 107.

Upon successful completion (2.0 or better) of the first enrollment in the Calculus

prerequisite calculus course(s). Contact the Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Advising Center or email math-stat@wichita.edu for eligibility details.
