Through our civic engagement events, Student Engagement & Belonging seeks to engage our community and in civic engagement through a series of events to connect students to volunteer work, alternative breaks programming, voter engagement initiatives, deliberate dialogue events and campus wide events and celebrations to foster civic pride and engagement for our community.

Alternative Break trips give students an opportunity to learn about the unique needs of a specific area and travel to that area to volunteer alongside other Shockers. Trips may take place over Spring Break and are open to all WSU Students.

A student-led council that works to address issues of public concern through service and active citizenship in the community. CSB members strive to serve their neighbors in the Wichita community and beyond with dignity and respect.
