The Mission of the Shockers Vote coalition is to empower and engage the WSU community in using their voices in a non-partisan, inclusive, and accessible manner, fostering education in civic engagement and the electoral process. The purpose is to empower students to advocate for themselves and others through educated and informed voting, while ensuring they have access to the necessary resources to navigate elections confidently. To foster a supportive environment that encourages student engagement with the electoral process, emphasizing the importance of every vote and voice. To bridge the gap between students and the political world, ensuring they have tools and knowledge to contribute to meaningful civic participation in an inclusive and accessible space.
