POWER is going virtual!
The WSU School of Social Work is committed to bringing you the best social work education in the safest way possible. This spring, as we continue to focus on the well-being of our colleagues and clients, POWER will be hosted entirely through Zoom. We look forward to seeing you virtually! Please check back later in 2020 for the finalized schedule. The POWER Conference is hosted by the Wichita State University School of Social Work.

Cost: $40 for professionals; $25 for students
Continuing education: up to six (6) CEU's, three (3) of which qualify for ethics credit

The 2021 POWER Conference is a virtual event that will be held through Zoom. You do not need to have a Zoom account to participate, but a stable internet connection is highly recommended. Registrants will receive detailed access information about a week prior to the conference date.
This program is pending approval by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board for continuing education for social workers. The program is pending approval for three (3) contact hours of professional ethics requirements and three (3) general contact hours applicable toward re-licensure. (BSRB approval #05-001)
Attendance will be verified through the conference evaluation. Certificates reflecting the continuing education units received at this conference will be emailed to participants after the conference, once attendance at all sessions has been verified. Please allow 30 days to receive your certificate.
