March 2, 2021 - Wichita State University will present a virtual panel on freedom of expression from 3-4:15 p.m. Wednesday, March 31.  Topics include: The responsibility of universities to provide a forum for differing points of view. The role of academic freedom in relationship to free speech. Higher education’s duty to teach its students the lessons of responsibility that accompany the privilege of free speech. Examples of how universities and colleges live in an environment where free speech is valued and supported. 

March 2, 2021 -- Wichita State University’s Student Health Services has been named by Kansas Department of Health and Environment as an approved COVID-19 vaccination provider. 

March 1, 2021 — Seniors from the Maize Virtual Preparatory School and Mother of Divine Grace Distance Learning School have been chosen for the Professor Fran Jabara Scholarship in Entrepreneurship at Wichita State University.

Feb. 26, 2021 — Seven students in the College of Health Professions have been named Sherr Scholars.

Feb. 23, 2021 — The Department of Women’s Studies, in a partnership with the Office of Diversity & Inclusion and League of Women Voters of Kansas, will hold the annual Diverse Women’s Summit (DWS) of individuals and groups from different backgrounds on local, regional and global diversity issues affecting women and gender on March 8.
