April 16, 2020 -- The Wichita State University College of Fine Arts will honor five shockers as the 2020 class of inductees.

After event cancellation, Emerging Artists prizes awarded virtually

April 14, 2020 --  Emerging Artists is an annual showcase of work by many of the best students in the School of Art, Design and Creative Industries. The March 14 event was canceled due to the novel Coronavirus. The group held a virtual awards ceremony through Facebook to celebrate the students' accomplishments.

Wichita State University launches satellite nursing program at Kansas State University

April 13, 2020 - Wichita State University and Kansas State University will launch a dual-degree program that will give students the opportunity to earn both a Bachelor of Science from the College of Health and Human Sciences at K-State and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the College of Health Professions at WSU. This is the first and only program of its kind in Kansas.

Butler, WSU add two majors to articulation agreement

April 13, 2020 -- Wichita State University and Butler Community College have signed articulation agreements that expand the number of majors that students can start at Butler and complete at WSU. Newly added are aerospace engineering and applied computing, which join a list that includes biomedical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, industrial and systems and manufacturing engineering, and mechanical engineering.
