Feb. 24, 2020 -- Sierra Brown, a junior human resources management major, is using her experiences at Wichita State University to inspire and help others by creating a career prep business for high school and college students.

Feb. 20, 2020 -- Brian Amos, assistant professor of political science at Wichita state, has dedicated numerous papers and conferences to gerrymandering research.

Feb. 12, 2020 -- Wichita State University Police Department has over 30 commissioned officer and 18 support staff members. WSUPD offers many resources  across campus which help protect and keep students, faculty and staff safe.

Feb. 7, 2020 -- Austin Rea, a senior from Washburn Rural High School in Topeka, Kansas, has won the 2020 Wichita State University Clay Barton Scholarship.

Feb. 5, 2019 -- Bryant Lewis from Olathe Kansas received the Linwood Sexton Endowed Scholarship in 2019. The full-ride scholarship allowed him to pursue his dream of attending WSU.

Feb. 3, 2020 -- Levente Sulyok, associate professor of painting and drawing in the School of Art, Design and Creative Industries, installed two temporary, dynamic sculptures on Wichita State’s Innovation Campus. 

Jan. 16, 2020 -- The Wichita State University Police Department has been named as one of the Top 25 programs in the country for its focus on safety.

Jan. 16, 2020 -- Wichita State University has chosen the top 10 finalists for the Linwood Sexton Endowed Scholarship, a full-ride award geared toward minority students majoring in business or education.

Dec. 18, 2019 -- Creating eco-friendly refrigeration and cooling technology is one of the top concerns when it comes to fighting climate change. Thanks to resources and knowledge at Wichita State University, a Wichita company is one step closer to finding a solution to that problem.

Dec. 12, 2019 -- Stella Yang has served in many roles on campus since she enrolled in 2016, including business senator and treasurer of Student Government Association, as well as vice president of Asian Student Conference.

Nov. 25, 2019 -- The business interns at Airbus’ Innovation Campus office feel right at home in their work and understand the importance Airbus places on everything they do. They hail from diverse backgrounds and depend on each other to develop and sustain Airbus’ work.

Nov. 20, 2019 -- Martin Ratcliffe, adjunct professor in the Dorothy and Bill Cohen Honors College, teaches students that space and the people who study it aren’t all that far away.

Nov. 14, 2019 -- Junior business management major Maribel Sanchez is taking full advantage of the opportunities provided by Wichita State. She is a first-generation student, Gore Scholar, studied abroad in the Netherlands this past summer and was invited to speak at a national conference.

Nov. 8, 2019 -- College of Engineering Dean Dennis Livesay has constructed an elaborate, storied LEGO city in his basement over the last six years. Most of it is his own creation and has ties to his personal history.
