In Rick Pappas' elementary school classroom, PE became a way to channel classroom lessons with physical activity. When he began teaching elementary PE at WSU in 2009, he taught his college students the same lesson.
May 21, 2019 - Four Wichita State University aerospace engineering students have placed seventh in NASA’s Student Launch Initiative competition. The team designed, built and launched a rocket to complete a simulated Moon mission.

April 15, 2019 -- A series of events honoring the life of late Wichita State President John Bardo will be held May 6-10 on campus. Dr. Bardo, the 13th president of WSU, died March 12 after a long illness.

Dec. 6, 2018 -- During the fall semester, WSU first-year seminar students had the opportunity to enroll in Beal’s six-credit-hour JUMP!STAR class, co-taught by Ferrandi.
