April 2, 2019 -- A plan to build a new Student-Athlete Success Center and renovate parts of Charles Koch Arena is moving forward.

March 22, 2019 -- Wichita State University has been named to CollegeNET Inc.’s list of Social Mobility Innovators for 2019. Making the list means WSU has a proven track record of successfully enrolling students from low-income backgrounds and graduating them into promising careers.

March 18, 2019 - Wichita State physician assistant students spent their day off from classes on Martin Luther King Jr. Day performing community service.

March 8, 2019 -- Having direct access to students’ talent and skills is a huge part of why Airbus Americas moved to the Wichita State campus two years ago. One of those opportunities for collaboration played out perfectly this winter when Airbus officials in the research and technology department needed a last-minute artistic rendering for an airplane seat under development.

March 7, 2019 -- Wichita State University’s School of Performing Arts will present “The Theory of Relativity”, the musical (rated PG).

The College of Health Professions announces the first annual Sherr Scholarship recipients for academic year 2019-20.

Feb. 26, 2019 -- Two Wichita State Public Health Sciences faculty members are focusing their research on health equity for women in Kansas. The researchers have been approved for a $250,000 Engagement Award for their project “Women Involved Network (WIN for Kansas): Community Collaboration to Create Health Equity.”

Feb. 3, 2019 -- The installation of "pods" on campus are part of the new place-making initiative at Wichita State inviting students, employees and community members to “linger longer” on campus.

Jan. 28 2019 -- RJ Clark is a graduate student at Wichita State and is one out of six WSU students accepted last year into Stanford’s prestigious University Innovation Fellow (UIF) program.

Jan. 2 2019 -- Maggie Brown is a sophomore aerospace engineer major and is one of a only six Wichita State students chosen as a University Innovation Fellow. 

Dec. 6, 2018 -- Trudy Martin is a fifth-year senior at WSU studying electronic media and is an intern at KMUW.

Dec. 6, 2018 -- During the fall semester, WSU first-year seminar students had the opportunity to enroll in Beal’s six-credit-hour JUMP!STAR class, co-taught by Ferrandi.

December 6, 2018-- First generation student Ana Lopez found that determination and passion trumped uncertainty every time.

Dec. 4, 2018 - WSU School of Nursing instructor Richard Nold spent two weeks in North Carolina earlier this fall providing medical assistance to victims of Hurricane Florence.

Nov. 27, 2018 -- Despite the wintry weather, students planted new “flowers” on campus this week as part of the Wulip Garden placemaking initiative aimed at creating a unique and inviting environment for campus visitors.
