The Science and Engineering Educational Development of Students (SEEDS) program employs
a team of Wichita State engineering students who present fun, hands-on science activities
during classroom visits, afterschool programs and Saturday workshops held on campus.
SEEDS programs are free of charge and allow students to learn science, engineering
and computer science concepts through activities including Scratch coding (computer
programming), Marble Roller Coasters (physics and engineering design), Snap Circuits
(electricity and circuit design), Gumdrop Bridges and Marshmallow Towers (civil engineering
design) and Air Rockets and Ready, Set Fly (aerospace engineering design). New activities
are added each year!
