About the 2018 Summer Choir Program

The WSU Summer Choir presented "An Evening with Mark Hayes" on Thursday, June 28th at Eastminster Presbyterian Church. Kansas City native Mark Hayes shared unique stories about his music written over the past four decades. Mr. Hayes also was featured at the piano playing some of his favorite compositions. Special guests were the Eastminster Presbyterian Cancel Choir.

Mark Hayes is an award-winning concert pianist, composer, arranger and conductor. He has more than 1,200 published works for choir, piano, and solo voice. His music is popular with both church choirs and school organizations. Whether concertizing on the other side of the globe or composing at his home in Kansas City, Missouri, Mark is blessed to live out his mission "to create beautiful music for the world.”
