Celebrate With Us!

Our office has all the props and regalia you can borrow—just bring yourself and your support crew. Snap a few photos with us, then grab a selfie map and keep the celebration going as you explore iconic spots across campus.

We’ll also send you off with a Shocker Pride Kit to keep the vibes high and the milestone magic rolling. Drop-in during our office hours, May 4-8!

Can’t make it in person? Share your story and upload your graduation moment to be featured in our OAL Shocker Grad Gallery.

Real Advice from Recent Grads

Daniela Whyte
RN to BSN Major
Spring 2026 Graduate

"My biggest advice is to protect your 'why' and give yourself some grace. As an adult learner, you aren't just a student. You are trying to balance a full life, whether that’s a job, raising a family, or managing other major personal commitments. You have to get comfortable with a little bit of chaos and learn to be incredibly protective of your time...my favorite reminder for adult learners is that your real-world experience is actually your superpower...If you can handle the responsibilities of everyday adulthood, you absolutely have what it takes to finish the schoolwork. "

"My advice would be to never underestimate your ability to succeed. The journey may feel long and difficult, especially when balancing work, family, and school, but every small step forward matters...DO NOT give up. Ask for help when you need it and trust that growth happens in the struggle."

"Don’t struggle alone. Have a good foundation of support and even if you don’t have anyone you can lean on, I’m always open to be a part of a support system. I know how isolating life can feel and nobody deserves to go through it alone."
