September 26th- Who is my advisor & what can they do for me?
Advisors will share how they support online and adult learners by building relationships, challenging misconceptions, and celebrating student strengths. The panel highlights the transformative impact of inclusive, student-centered advising. Whether you're navigating school, work, or life responsibilities, this panel is all about you—your goals, your journey, and your success. Come ready to be encouraged, empowered, and maybe even surprised by how much support is out there waiting for you.

October 20-30th- Virtual "Ghost & Gourds" Event
Get into the spooky spirit and cozy fall vibes with Ghosts & Gourds, a virtual event designed to connect, create, and celebrate our online and adult learners! All submissions will be featured in our online Spooktacular Gallery.

We're hosting a virtual gallery and you're invited to show off your spooky side. Get creative with a classic sheet ghost costume and capture a photo of your ghost self doing something normal, like studying, working on your laptop, reading a book, or just hanging out. 
 

  • Snap a fun, spooky, or silly photo in your ghost sheet costume.

  • Submit your photo by October 30th at oal@wichita.edu

We're inviting kids, teens, and adults to show off their artistic skills in our Pumpkin Coloring Gallery!

Need help with your FAFSA? Join us for a virtual pop-up tour designed to simplify the financial aid process. Our financial aid experts will be available to answer your questions live, so you can get the help you need from the comfort of your home.

What to expect:

  • Step-By-Step Guidance: We'll walk you through the FAFSA form, sharing tips and tricks to avoid common mistakes
  • Expert Advice: Learn about different types of financial aid, scholarships, and what comes after you submit your FAFSA.

December 1-5 Graduation Cord Pick-Up

Graduating in December 2025? We've got something special for you. Eligible students will get an email from our office with an invitation to come pick up your cord.  Stop by the Adult Learning Office, SSC 302 during our office hours to pick up your graduation cord and celebrate your achievement.
