WSU Study Abroad Scholarship Acceptence Form Conditions

 

  1. Scholarships funds will only be used for the study abroad program identified on the application (unless official change is made through the Office of International Education).
  2. If for some reason the program is not completed, student will return all the scholarship funds to Wichita State University.
  3. Student must maintain a 2.50 GPA or higher up to departing for study abroad program. Scholarship will be withdrawn if GPA drops lower than 2.5 prior to the study abroad program.
  4. Student must maintain full time enrollment for the entire duration of the study abroad program.
  5. While abroad, student will make at least one presentation at host institution introducing Wichita State, IF requested by that institution.
  6. Prior to the study abroad program, student must write a “Thank you” letter to the sponsor of the scholarship. (International Office will provide details)
  7. After returning from abroad, student will:
    1. Provide the WSU International Education Office with photos during and after the study abroad program to be used for promotional purposes such as social media.
    2. Share experiences/give advice in at least one pre-departure orientation for outgoing study abroad students and/or at a study abroad fair.
    3. Make a brief presentation or serve on a student panel discussion at a WSU Study abroad meeting about their study abroad experience or help with other promotional activities.
