Steps to a Successful Appeal*

Write a detailed explanation of the circumstances that prevented you from meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress.
Submit documentation to confirm your circumstances.
Meet with your College Academic Advisor to complete your Academic Plan.
Allow 3-4 weeks, minimum, for processing your submitted appeal.
Appeal by the appeal deadline above.

*Incomplete appeals will be denied.

Submitting Financial Aid Documents

Once you have completed your Financial Aid form(s), please write your myWSU ID on every page, sign and return to the WSU Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships through one of the following methods.

Allow up to 3-4 weeks for review and processing.

STUDENT DROP BOX
Scan and return your documents through the myWSU portal at wichita.edu/myWSU

Select the myFinances tab and then choose “Financial Aid Drop Box” to upload your files securely. Please note that HEIC or HEIF files are not accepted.
