How to Apply for Summer Aid
Your Summer Aid To-Do List
- If you have not already submitted a 2022-2023 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to Wichita State, be sure to complete and add Wichita State's school code (001950) to your FAFSA at fafsa.gov.
- Enroll for summer courses at Wichita State.
- Complete the WSU Summer 2023 Financial Aid Application* on your myWSU student portal.
- The application can be found under the myFinances tab, within the Financial Aid Links section. Click on "Apply for Summer 2023 Financial Aid."
- Read the Summer Financial Aid Requirements & Conditions.
*You must have a 2022-2023 FAFSA on file with Wichita State, and you must be enrolled for Summer 2023 in order for your application to be processed. Allow up to three weeks for processing.
Special Notes about Summer Aid Eligibility
- Undergraduate Students:
- Student Loans:
- You must be enrolled in at least 6 financial-aid-eligible credit hours. Annual and aggregate student loan limit rules apply.
- Pell Grant:
- If you have not been enrolled full-time during the 2022-2023 academic year, you may still be eligible for some remaining Pell Grant eligibility.
- Some students who are enrolled in at least 6 financial-aid-eligible credit hours may be eligible for Additional Year-Round Pell Grant eligibility. Terms and Conditions apply.
