We are so excited that you are interested in attending WSU through the BECAL-CPK Mobility Scholarship program! To apply for the scholarship program, please contact movilidad@cpk.org.py. You will apply to WSU with the guidance of Comité Paraguay Kansas.
Scholarship Program
The BECAL-CPK Mobility Scholarship program provides scholarships to Paraguayan students
allowing them to attend WSU for a semester. WSU also provides an additional scholarship
to ensure that BECAL-CPK mobility students do not have to pay anything to WSU.
We can welcome all students who are awarded the BECAL-CPK scholarship that are interested in attending WSU.
Scholarship Benefits at WSU
Scholarships from BECAL-CPK and Wichita State University generally cover all costs
for a full semester at WSU including:
- Tuition and fees – We offer courses in 200 subject areas for all different careers
- Housing – furnished apartment on campus in The Flats residence hall with washer/dryer and kitchen cooking items
- Meals – Meal stipend (cash) to shop at supermarkets and dining dollars to eat on campus
- Textbooks
- Health insurance
- Flight to/from Paraguay
At WSU we offer personalized assistance to all BECAL-CPK students including, zoom meetings prior to arrival, WhatsApp group for BECAL-CPK students, arrival orientation, free airport pickup, a trip to Walmart, support throughout the semester, and much more.
Our WSU BECAL-CPK Ambassadors serve as a resource for future WSU BECAL-CPK students, exemplifying knowledge of WSU campus culture, programs, policies, and procedures. They can help answer any questions about the scholarship, application, WSU and Wichita and provide tips and advice.

Get Involved! - Volunteering, Student Organizations, Activities, Sports and more
There are many opportunities to get involved at WSU. There are campus activities and events every day(with free food and giveaways!), and we have over 200+ student organizations. Being involved in different student organizations and clubs is also a great way
to get new experiences while you are at WSU that you can add to your CV. Students
can also attend university athletic events for free.
Past BECAL-CPK students have joined sports teams, volunteering opportunities, NASA Suits, GoBabyGo, Model United Nations, Shocker Choir, Paraguayan Student Association and more.

We are the largest city in the state of Kansas and have a great location to travel
to surrounding cities and states. There is so much to see and do in Wichita. Students
have access to free public transportation(bus) around the city.
