WICHITA, Kan. – The 2015 National Championship Shocker Men’s team will be awarded their commemorative championship rings during the Convocation program on Tuesday, August 25th at 11:00 a.m. at Charles Koch Arena.
Convocation is Wichita State’s annual fall pep rally to kick off the new school year. Various people from campus speak including athletic teams, different student groups and Wichita State President Dr. John Bardo. Shocker Sound as well as the Wichita State Choir will perform during the event.
Last year’s Shocker men’s team capped off their season by winning the National Championship, beating Midland University in the finals 3-0. The men will receive their championship rings during the celebration at Charles Koch Arena.
Students, faculty, staff, media, parents and any Shocker fans are welcome to join in this celebration!
