Overview
Why did you choose WSU?
I chose WSU for a couple of reasons. I liked the affordability for one, as college
is not cheap, but WSU makes it easier. I also liked how far away it was from home.
It's easy for me to drive home if I want, but far enough away that I wouldn't make
the drive every weekend. And I love the film program as it's very hands-on and you're
able to make projects right off the bat.
Why did you want to be a Transition Mentor?
I wanted to become a Transition Mentor because I did something similar in high school
and enjoyed it immensely. I also love helping people feel more comfortable with their
surroundings. Moving to college isn't easy, and if I have a chance to show that they
belong at WSU, then I want to help.
What's one thing all Shockers should know?
One thing all Shockers should know is that you should never be afraid to go to an
event alone. You'll come out of it with at least one friend.
Favorite Shocker Experience:
I don't think I have one favorite experience, but I have enjoyed the film sets I was
on last semester, as I really got out of my comfort zone and stepped up more. I also
have enjoyed both Clash of the Colleges I have attended, as I'm always down for a
healthy competition.
One thing on your bucket list:
I wanna go bungee jumping at some point in my life.
