This dynamic platform allows students and campus departments connect quickly and efficiently.
Students use Navigate360 to easily find resources, schedule appointments or tutoring,
and virtually raise their hand for help. Staff and faculty use it to proactively reach
out to students to help them anticipate challenges and navigate their academic success
and journey to graduation.

Depending on how long you have been at Wichita State, you may know this program by
the name of Navigate, Navigate360, Navigate Campus, or the Student Success Collaborative
(SSC). We now refer to this system as Navigate, or NAV. Navigate360 is a powerful tool used among advising, student services, and Shocker
Tutoring to capture information about where students are connecting, scheduled appointments
and notes, referrals to services, and much more. It also allows users the ability
to track communication to students including emails, texts, and outreach campaigns.
Predictive data about student populations are available, as is the ability to automate
helpful messaging and referrals for students, depending on their individual interests
and needs.
To better understand the platform, it is important to understand two common terms.
Navigate Staff - the tools advisors, faculty and tutors use to record appointment data, make referrals,
etc.
Navigate Student - the app students download on their phone to schedule appointments, view their classes,
raise a virtual hand for help, view holds, connect with study buddies, view important
to-do or academic calendar items, and more.
Navigate360 has made serving students much easier. Aside from the powerful communication
and automation tools, faculty and staff can quickly view information about students
in a shared space allowing for faster, accurate and more complete service.
Navigate Reminder
As a new semester approaches, remember to update and activate your availability on
the first day of the semester (or before). Updated availability solves a majority
of scheduling questions or issues.
*This is a campus expectation among users and best practice.
