Funding for FY2022 opens on Monday, August 10th at 8:00 a.m. and will close on April 7, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. or until funding runs out, whichever comes first.

One of SGA’s primary charges is to enhance the educational, social, and cultural experiences of the members of the Association. Each year, SGA allocates funding for undergraduate and graduate students traveling to:

  1. Conferences to present research
  2. Conferences to advance your knowledge
  3. Leadership opportunities to develop your abilities to support a student organization or the student
group

One of SGA’s primary goals is to enhance the educational, social, and cultural experiences of the members of the Association. Each year, SGA allocates funding for any recognized student organization to

  1. Request supplementary funding for conference travel,
  2. Request supplementary funding for campus wide events;
  3. Request supplementary funding for projects, or operational expenses

Introducing the Organization Appropriations Fund

The Student Government Association approved legislation that created the Organization Appropriations Fund. This funding provides student organizations with a budget for the entire year. Instead of a reimbursement process that occurs during the Organization Funding process, this new process allows organizations to submit a yearly budget for programming, operational expenses, travel, membership development and more for the entire fiscal year.
