Frequently Asked Questions
Why a virtual/hybrid event?
This year we again find ourselves at a crossroad. How do we best provide relevent education and meaninful connection while upholding the integrity and importance of a healthy environment? We accepted the challenge, once again, to make the best decision we can with the information we have. With that in mind, in 2021 we are prioritizing the impact of in-person learning for new nurses to the field, while seeking top notch virtual presenters for the majority of attendees.
How do I verify my attendance to earn CNE's?
Attendance will be recorded in each session through the virtual platform. You will also verify your attendance through the session evaluation. A unique code word will be given during the session that will be entered during the session evaluation. Recordings will be avaialble for 365 following the conference, but conference evaluations for CNE are due no later than August 31, 2021.
How do I participate in a live session?
Attendees will be sent a link to register for the conference platform in mid-July. Once an attendee has created a profile, they can view sessions and create their conference schedule. When a session is ready to begin, attendees will see the presenter and/or slides and hear from a KSN moderator, as well as see the names of the other attendees to that session. Attendees can ask questions through a live Q&A chat.
