April 19, 2018 - Wichita State University physics professor Nickolas Solomey won one of NASA's coveted Innovation and Advanced Concept Awards (NIAC) for his research to create a neutrino detector for close sun orbit.

April 17, 2018 --  Michaela Marioni, a junior majoring in game design, contributed her video editing talents to a background video for Snoop Dogg's current tour. The opportunity was given to her by award-winning designer and WSU alum, Michael Downs.

Sept. 28, 2017 - Thomas Rudawsky is a sport management senior who interned for the Minnesota Vikings.

Sept. 26, 2017 - Danielle McLean is a transfer and returning adult student from Tulsa whose internship with Spirit AeroSystems was extended into a co-op position.

July 20, 2017 - Recent graduate Katie Deutsch is interning at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She assists economists in conducting legislative and judicial research, as well as providing analytic services.

The WSU biology department is growing a program that provides interns for local breweries.
