Sept. 25, 2023 - Rudd Scholar Bayle Sandy found a sense of community at Wichita State University and enjoyed support from many sources for her academic and extracurricular pursuits. Sept. 18, 2023 — The community will soon have a new restaurant to choose from when Two Hands Corn Dogs opens on Wichita State University’s campus Friday, Sept. 22.
Sept. 11, 2023 — Wichita State University is holding a parade next month and is inviting anyone in the community to join in. Starting at 6 p.m. Oct. 6 on the WSU campus, the parade is part of the university’s annual Shocktoberfest celebration.

Feb. 22, 2023 — The W. Frank Barton School of Business at Wichita State University has awarded Isabella (Bella) Kilman, a Valley Center High School senior, the 2023 Clay Barton Scholarship. The $50,000 scholarship is one of the largest business scholarships in Kansas.
Nov. 30, 2022 — Delane Vaughn loved science and her biology teacher at Mulvane High School – Joe Johnson – started her on a path to Wichita State University as the first person in her family to attend college. She worked, raised a family and attended WSU and the University of Kansas School of Medicine.
