Aug. 17, 2018 - Wichita State's Career Development Center wants to help students find the right applied learning experience early in their college career.

Aug. 16, 2018 -- WSU Old Town gets Wichita State and WSU Tech students and faculty together in labs, classrooms and break rooms to learn and take advantage of combined resources.

Aug. 9, 2018 - Wichita State University set a new record for total research and development awards in fiscal year 2018 with a total of $104.5 million, increasing awards by more than $14 million and achieving gains in most funded departments.

Wichita State administrators are clear on their goals for applied learning and research for students and faculty, creation of new technology, formation/acceleration of businesses based on university research, collaboration across academic disciplines, support for local industry and economic growth. President John Bardo and his team are spreading those ideas across campus and throughout the community and state.

Aug. 8, 2018 -- Wichita State will be home to the new Wesley Healthcare Urgent Care Center, thanks to a $3 million partnership between Wesley Healthcare and the Greater Wichita YMCA. The urgent care center will be located inside the new campus YMCA and is expected to open at the same time, in early 2020.
