The Department of Industrial, Systems and Manufacturing Engineering within the College of Engineering at WSU offers a master's degree in Engineering Management and both a master's degree and doctoral degree in Industrial Engineering. We also have six graduate certificate programs available.
The Master of Engineering Management program helps engineers and technologists develop planning, decision-making and managerial skills while receiving advanced technical knowledge. If you need to use (or develop) skills in decision-making and team management, projects and organizations, you should consider the master’s degree program.
Completing the Master of Engineering Management degree requires 33 credit hours of coursework. To support the broad career needs of students, this program provides flexible pathways to choose courses from engineering, computer science and the business school. Selected industry-recognized certifications are valued by our department and may be used to satisfy up to six credit hours of the curriculum requirements.

The Industrial Engineering doctorate program curriculum equips you with the knowledge
and skills to conduct independent research–and offers advanced knowledge in the industrial,
systems and manufacturing engineering domains. To earn the doctorate, students must
pass a preliminary exam, a dissertation approval exam and a dissertation defense.

If you have friends/relatives in or near places such as California, Colorado (Denver), Florida (e.g. Orlando and Miami), Illinois (Chicago), Missouri or Kansas (Kansas City), New York, Texas (e.g. Dallas and Houston,) Washington (Seattle), or Washington-DC, you may be able to find a better/cheaper international flight to those locations and book a domestic flight after a day or two from your arrival date in the US. Similarly, you can explore other airports in your country that may have better options than your current location. You could use a travel agent in your home country and/or use websites such as Google flights, Kayak, and Skyscanner.

Once you have arrived at WSU, you must complete international student check-in and TB testing process (details are sent via email 1-2 months before start of the semester). You will then attend one of the advising meetings with ISME Graduate Coordinator to register in your classes and/or ask other questions related to your studies at WSU.
