Classroom Media Training Schedule - Fall 2025

WSU has 3 main types of classroom around campus: Master Classrooms, Mini-Master Classrooms, and the BYOD or 'Gray Box' rooms. For the Fall 2025 semester, Campus Media Services is hosting open training labs in Master Classrooms and 'Gray Box' rooms during the week prior to class start.

We encourage all instructors to verify that their assigned rooms have the technology they need prior to the start of the semester.

Gray Media Box Training Lab

For training sessions in the BYOD/Gray Media Box classrooms for Fall 2025, open training labs will be offered from: Monday, August 11th through Thursday, August 14th. No appointment is required for those dates. Please review the dates and times of the open labs available to receive training. Additionally, as this style of classroom does not include a computer, you will need to bring your own laptop or tablet to adquately complete your training. The trainer will assist you with determining a need for an adapter and/or cable which are available for purchase from Campus Media Services. Internet and audio will be tested during the training session.

Master Classroom Media Training Lab

For training sessions in the Master Classrooms for Fall 2025, open training labs will be offered from: Monday, August 11th through Thursday, August 14th. No appointment is required for those dates. Please review the dates and times of the open labs available to receive training. This style of classroom does include a computer, if you choose to use it. Otherwise, please bring your own laptop or tablet. This training includes a demonstration of the room's media cabinet, touch panel, use of the classroom camera, microphone, and how to use Teams in the classroom (upon requested). The touch panel interface has changed since 2022 and is covered in these sessions.
