Overview

Jason Ladner grew up in Dodge City, KS, and attended Wichita State for college. Jason recognized the potential for significant advancements in healthcare and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Healthcare Services Organization and Policy. 

Jason has built a dynamic career, working in several high-profile roles and businesses. After graduating, Jason began his professional journey at Wamego Hospital and Wesley Medical Center before moving into medical sales for Covidien, Johnson & Johnson, and other leading medical device companies. He was then recruited to IMA Wealth as VP of Customer Relationships. His expertise in business development, strategy and relationship building led him to a role Business Development Executive role at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas (BCBSKS), Kansas’ only local health insurance company. In that role, he worked to support initiatives to make healthcare more affordable and enhance the quality of life for Kansans. Jason currently serves as Director of Industry Engagement in Health Innovation at Wichita State University.

Jason has remained actively engaged with his alma mater, advocating for and championing Wichita State. He has worked on various projects and proposals for the College of Health Professions, acting as a conduit between philanthropic developments and talent pipeline efficiencies. Additionally, he has started collaborations with the Barton School of Business at WSU and the WSU Tech Healthcare Future Ready Center, further contributing to the growth and success of the university and its programs. 

Jason served on the board for the Kansas Insurance & Financial Services Education Foundation (KIFSEF) and was a member of the board of advisors for Coming Together For A Cure.  

In his spare time Jason enjoys spending time with his three kids, Adison, Jase, and Olivia. He also enjoys cooking and playing golf.
