Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)

The BYOD (“bring‐your‐own‐device”) classroom is the least built-out, but still enables faculty to teach with their own laptops, tablets, or phones as desired.  

Standard Features: Connection to plug in a user‐provided full‐size HDMI or VGA+Audio cable for user’s laptop/tablet/phone, etc., wireless presentation. Also includes projector or display of appropriate size, plus appropriate speaker coverage for voice and video playback, with push‐button controls. Part of Campus Media Services’ managed AV system. 

Optional Features: Additional mirrored displays/projectors.  Current Examples: Hubbard Hall 342, Old Town (213) A112, WSU Haysville 115‐123.
