Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. was founded December 4, 1906 on the campus of Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. It is the first intercollegiate Greek-letter organization established by African Americans. The Delta Mu Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. was chartered on the campus of Wichita State University March 25, 1950 by 9 distinguished men. Alpha Phi Alpha pushes the importance of service, scholarship, and brotherhood.
