Sept. 26, 2019 - Students Zeeshan Kahn and James Meli, along with alumni Emmanuel Daramola and Billi Meli, recently released their mobile application, aimed at connecting students through campus events. With more than 350 downloads so far, they are excited about the possibilities the app provides.
Sept. 24, 2019 -- The National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security have designated Wichita State University as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education. The designation, which applies through academic year 2024, is in recognition of the WSU College of Engineering’s graduate certificate in Information Assurance and Cybersecurity.
Sept. 23, 2019 - Electrical engineering senior, Austin Nefzger, has been an engineering intern for LK Architecture in Wichita for over a year. He is a part of a team responsible for documenting the new and existing electrical diagrams for projects. They reported and wrote stories for radio and the web on the Sedgwick County Fair, elections, Juneteenth and the anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. While they don’t perform on-air duties, they are expected to fill all of the other reporting tasks.
