Jan. 15, 2019 -- Wichita State University’s College of Applied Studies awarded five high school seniors the Doris and Ralph Klose Endowed Scholarship.

Jan 11, 2019 - Past recipient of the Clay Barton Endowed Scholarship and current Master of Innovation Design student, Bailey Bryand, believes in order for one to improve, one must innovate themselves. He has lived by this philosophy throughout his high school, college and professional career.

Jan. 8, 2019 -- The Honors Leadership Challenge is a course taught by Peter Cohen whose mission is to challenge students and help them reflect on their interactions in class to prepare for life.

Jan. 2, 2019 -- President John Bardo is focusing on his recovery from November and December surgeries for a lung condition. During this time, he has requested Provost Richard Muma serve as acting president.

Jan. 2 2019 -- Maggie Brown is a sophomore aerospace engineer major and is one of a only six Wichita State students chosen as a University Innovation Fellow. 

Dec. 20, 2018 -- On Dec. 16, Wichita State University students walked across the stage in Charles Koch Arena for their graduation ceremony.

Dec. 19, 2018 -- As a nontraditional student who was the first in his family to go to college, the thought of college was scary for David Bustos-Morales. But spurred on by the desire to make his family proud, he pushed through and graduated in December 2018.

Dec. 19, 2018 -- KMUW is adding resources to report more news and lead discussions about Wichita and Kansas. In doing so, it is bringing local stories to a national audience on public radio.
