The School of Art, Design and Creative Industries awards more than $120,000 in scholarships
annually. We select students of creative excellence and academic distinction within
the disciplines of art education, art history, graphic design and studio arts.
The Slideroom portal will prompt you to enter all required information, including
the inclusion a portfolio of 8-12 images. A scholarship application portfolio may
include school-related assignments and/or independent work in any medium on any subject,
including 3D work, multiple pages of a series, sketchbook content, computer-based
images, movies or animations. Please note that all ADCI undergraduate and graduate
scholarship applications are online only. Work mailed or delivered to Wichita State
will not be reviewed or returned.

Audition Dates: November 23rd, February 1st, April 11th
Auditions are required for those students planning to major in music. Auditions are
for program entrance and scholarships, and are open to all instrumental and vocal
students who are high school seniors, transfer students, and graduate students.
In October and February of each year, the School of Performing Arts considers all scholarship
applications and reviews the eligibility of each student. Outstanding students are
then selected to receive scholarships.
New students to the School of Performing Arts are required to audition or interview for
scholarship consideration in Dance, Musical Theatre, or Theatre.
