School of Nursing

Given the rapidly aging population and need for increasing health services, the demand for all levels of nursing services is expected to grow. As the second-largest nursing school in the state of Kansas, Wichita State offers several undergraduate and graduate degrees to help meet this need. Our quality programs exceed national pass rates on the Registered Nurse national exam and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse professional certification exams.

We offer flexibility for students with diverse educational goals. Our programs appeal to students because of our passionate and distinguished faculty, our partnering clinical facilities and the practical hands-on experience they receive through practicum, clinical simulation, internet and scholarly activities relevant to practice.
