Mini-Master and Legacy Mini-Master

The Mini‐Master Classroom started with the Bring‐Your‐Own‐Device (BYOD) classroom, but then added the most requested part of the Master Classroom—the resident computer! This room is simple, easy‐to‐use, and meets the needs of the vast majority of users.

Standard Features: ADA height‐adjustable lectern, resident PC (Windows), computer monitor with integrated USB for flash drives, full‐size HDMI and VGA+Audio cables for user’s laptop/tablet/phone, etc., wireless presentation, assistive listening system (ALS) for ADA compliance. Also includes projector or display of appropriate size, plus appropriate speaker coverage for voice and video playback, with push‐button controls. Part of Campus Media Services’ managed AV system.

Optional Features: Lapel microphone for voice amplification, camera for lecture recording or streaming, audience camera for distance learning applications, additional microphones for online conferencing, digital interactive display
(i.e., SMART Board or SMART Podium) for “inking” activities, dual displays (mirrored) for wider spaces.  Current Examples: Devlin Hall 103/105, and Engineering Building 202.
