Michael Yombwe
My name is Michael Yombwe, and I’m an Electrical Engineering major at Wichita State University. I’m an international student from the Democratic Republic of Congo, and I’ve been passionate about electronics since I was young. Over the years, I’ve worked on a variety of electronics projects, including a team project back home where we converted a DJI F450 drone into an autonomous system.
At TRIO Student Support Services, I serve as the Web Manager and Lead Tutor, where I help maintain the program’s website and support students in their academic journey.
I speak three languages fluently (French, which is my native language, Lingala, and English) and I also understand Swahili. Outside of school and work, I enjoy playing chess, working out, and writing.
