Jane Gabbert: Director of "The Angel of Death"

WSU Alumna, Jane Gabbert, returns to WSU to direct the 2024 Bela Kiralyfalvi Playwriting Competition Award Winning play, The Angel of Death, written by WSU current student Amanda Schmalzried.

Jane graduated from WSU with a BA in Theatre in 1977, studying under the beloved Dr. Richard Welsbacher, Mary Jane Teall & Joyce Cavarozzi. From there, she went on to get her MFA from Ohio University.
