The Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Wichita State University develops practitioners who are responsible for providing leadership in a dynamic profession encompassed in a constantly changing health care system. Students serve not only as practitioners, but also as educators in the profession utilizing best practices for promoting patient wellness and fitness.

Students gain knowledge through clinical learning experiences using advanced equipment and the latest technologies. These experiences enhance learning outcomes necessary to produce students who are fully trained to diagnose, restore, and prevent various physical injuries, conditions and dysfunctions.
